WHAT IS RE:LEASE?
Re:lease is a multi-church, week-long mission trip to the children of Ashtabula, Painesville and Cleveland. During Re:lease, we will equip your teens with lots of great truth-sharing tools—Evangecubes, songs, skits and games—then we’ll send them out to share Christ in neighborhood Bible clubs. 2019 is the 10 year anniversary of this ministry!

We will go where the children live and play—to city blocks, housing developments and community centers—to be salt and light and ministers of the gospel! Over the course of the week, we will pray together, play together, sweat together, worship together and watch while God glorifies His Name through His Word and His people.

So that’s Re:lease: 1½ days of training and 3½ days of ministry that will change your students and families of northeast Ohio forever! There is no need for a plane ticket—the mission field is right around the corner!

FOR CHURCH LEADERS & VOLUNTEERS: CAN WE HELP?
Absolutely! Every church that sends three to five students MUST send one adult leader along (age 21 or older). We need adults who are willing to invest in this outreach. If you send over five students, you need to send two adult leaders. Leaders are free, but an application is required (see above).
WHO IS LEADING THIS PROGRAM?
The leadership team includes pastors and youth leaders from several local churches. Jeff Pierce, Pastor at Leroy Community Chapel, leads this outreach. Feel free to contact him at 440.254.4747 or [email protected]. Note that this is a youth mission trip, so the students reach out and the students share the gospel. The adults are there for safety and to shepherd and guide.
"ALL IN" POLICY
All participating students are required to commit to the full week. Teams require commitment and consistency to be effective, so it's critical that we all honor this policy. Please do not sign up for Re:lease if you already know you have a conflict with the schedule.  Exceptions will be made in the case of illness or emergency. Adult leaders will be given flexibility to accommodate work schedules.
WHAT IS THE DAILY SCHEDULE?
Monday: 8A to 5:30P
Tuesday: 8A to 8P
Wednesday: 8A to 5:30P
Thursday: 8A to 5:30P
Friday: 8A to 11P

All days will start and end at Leroy Community Chapel.
WHO IS DRIVING?
Only adult leaders drive. No students will be allowed to drive vehicles throughout the week. We will need transportation help, so please consider assisting by providing your van for the week or by offering to be a driver.
CAN I CONTACT MY STUDENT DURING THE WEEK?
Students will not be allowed to carry phones, but all leaders will have cell phones and will be accessible by LCC office staff. All emergencies will be handled through this number: 440.254.4747
CELL PHONES & EAR BUDS?
No phones or personal music or game players will be allowed. The reason for this is so we can do life together as we serve. Don’t bring it, and we won’t have to ask you to put it away.
THE "GO HOME" POLICY
Things that will lead to us to sending you home are: disobedience, PDA or pursuit of the opposite sex, aggression towards anyone, destruction of property or a bad attitude.
HOW WILL I GET UPDATES DURING THE WEEK?
Notifications & reminders will be sent out via text / SMS during the week. Parents are automatically added to receive updates after registering their student(s).
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your Bible, a water bottle, a willingness to serve and a heart for the lost. We’ll take care of the rest! Please choose clothes with modesty in mind: no short shorts, leggings, Spandex or yoga-style pants or shorts.
