Mike and Becky Crandall are missionaries with Cru Ministries in Orlando Florida. Cru stands for Campus Crusade for Christ and is a ministry that focuses on university students around the world. Mike states that there are currently 18 nations that have strong local leadership, multiple strategies through which to share the Gospel, self-sustaining finances, and a passion and increasing ability to send missionaries beyond their borders.
Mike says that the following story is from one of the staff his team helped in the process of him becoming a new missionary with cru.
“A couple of weeks back I had my favorite moment from the whole semester. I met up with a student who had found our connection form and filled it out. On the form he had checked the box that he wanted to hear more about Jesus, so I came into the conversation excited. I met with him for coffee and found out that he grew up in Muslim family, but they had moved from Pakistan, and his parents put him in Christian school because they heard that it would offer a good education. This young man had to read the Bible for his classes. During his senior year of high school, he had a vision of Jesus! Since then, he has been seeking ways to learn more about Jesus and that’s how he found Cru. I am so excited to walk alongside this young student throughout the journey. “
Mike would like us to know that he is deeply grateful for the giving and praying that we do that literally makes it possible for he and Becky to play their part in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
