The month of February was extremely busy for Dave & Jen as the son Josh, a professional filmmaker, flew in from the U.S. to film a documentary entitled “The Father’s Heat”. There is a preview posted on YouTube with this description:

Journey with us as we make a powerful movie in Africa about the theme of God as Father. “The Father’s Heart” weaves five powerful true stories into an immersive, cinematic movie that invites you to experience the life-changing truth that you are loved by God; a love that not only transforms your destiny but the broken world around you. The Father’s love is not something to earn or strive for – it is a gift to be received. Discover your purpose and the identity you’ve been searching for. Witness powerful examples of how God’s love can transform even the most broken heart. The film deals with some deep issues; war trauma, disability, alcohol addiction, and childhood abuse, but ultimately proclaims that no heart, no situation, and no story is too broken for God to heal. The film is more than just another movie; it’s a proclamation that God’s love is the only thing that can bring life to a dying world. In his February newsletter, Dave wrote, “This is such an important ministry tool, and every time we share about the project with people, the excitement builds. The budget is proving more expensive than we thought. Josh has worked hard to streamline it, but we still need about $20,000 to finish it.”

If you would like to contribute, you may do so online at www.cten.org/davecarroll and designate it for the documentary. If giving by mail, please make checks payable to CTEN (Commission to Every Nation), P.O. Box 291307, Kerrville TX, 78029-1307.
