Leroy Community Chapel (LCC) is seeking a part-time assistant to manage church communications, both written and visual, across social media platforms, website,email updates, and printed communication. Create the flow of appealing visual communication from LCC staff and leaders to the congregation and public consistent with LCC branding.

Technology Proficiency

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Proficient in graphic design software.
• Knowledge of social media platforms.
  

Requirements

• Loves the Kingdom of God and seeing it grow. Desires to use their gifts in Christian
  ministry.
• AA in a relevant field, BS preferred.
  
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  
• Strong layout, design, printing, and publishing skills.
• Prior experience in communications and graphic design preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust in sensitive shepherding issues.
  

Responsibilities

• Assimilate content, create visuals, and publish weekly bulletin to be processed by LCC office staff.
  
• Work with pastors and ministry leaders to create materials such as promotional publications, special event publications, etc.
  
• Coordinate with 3rd party printing vendors.
  
• Create and publish content on all social media platforms.
  
• Maintain and update the church website as needed.
  
• Oversee adherence to and/or changes to LCC branding.
• Hours are flexible with weekly deadlines & required team meetings.
  

Pastoral Support

• Create sermon series graphics.
• Assist in special service and event planning and execution.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
