Student Ministries
Kingdom Kids Sunday School
Sunday school is offered at 9:15 a.m., for children in grades K-5 in the Cornerstone Building. We desire that our children would be encouraged by the teaching of God’s Word to know Christ, grow in their understanding of the Gospel, and to walk with God in a real way.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is an outreach to the youth in the Painesville community and surrounding areas. We open our doors each summer to children entering grades 1– 9 for a fun week that is also rich in the Gospel message.
Student Clubs
As part of our commitment to grow children in their understanding of the Gospel, we offer mid-week Bible Clubs. Clubs minister to children in grades K-12 and meet on Wednesdays, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. during the academic school year.
Christian Service Brigade
Club meetings consist of men and boys participating together in prayer, games, hands-on activities, Bible devotionals, memory verses and service projects. CSB has three groups:
Tree Climbers (fathers with K-2nd grade sons)
Stockade (boys in grades 3-6)
Battalion (boys in grades 7-12)
Pioneer Clubs for Girls
Pioneer Girls is entirely driven by a passion to evangelize and disciple young girls. We teach girls to have fun, learn new skills, build relationships, study the Bible and apply the truths they learn to everyday situations. Pioneer Girls meet at the Cornerstone Building on Wednesday evenings. Pioneer Girls is broken into three groups:
Voyagers (girls in grades K-2)
Pathfinders (girls in grades 3-4)
Trailblazers (girls in grades 5-6)
Sisters Training in Righteousness (STIR )
STIR for teen girls (grades 7-12) encourages young women to grow in their relationship with God, with one another and mature Christian women.
The meetings involve Bible study, prayer and activities such as memorizing God’s word, service projects, crafts, cooking, small groups and lots of fun fellowship. STIR meets at Leroy Community Chapel’s Center every Wednesday.
90@9 Student Ministry
90@9 is a small group youth ministry for students in grades 6 – 12, that meets on Sunday mornings at the Center, at 9:09. We want to encourage the application of the Word for all students, celebrate our differences, extend grace to one another, participate in passionate worship to Christ, create small groups that allow for life teaching and applying God’s Word to real life situations.
