Prayer
Prayer changes things and prayer changes us. Without prayer we are powerless to be the people God wants us to be and we are unable to do the things the Bible calls us to do. Through the intimacy of prayer we stand boldly before the throne of Grace because of what Jesus has done for us and we have fellowship with God himself. Prayer brings us low before a great God who then lifts us up for His Mission in the world.
If you need prayer…
When you have a need for prayer, be assured that we take this responsibility with the utmost sensitivity and highest priority. Prayer requests may be given through the following:
- Call the church office during the hours of 9-5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday at 440-254-4747. If your request cannot wait until morning.
- Specify at that time if you would like the Pastors and Staff to pray, the prayer chain to be started, or if you would like your request to be added to our weekly Family Prayer Request sheet.
- You can request prayer through the Attendance Booklet on Sunday mornings. The office staff prays through these requests at the Tuesday morning staff meetings.
- Elders and Pastors are available to pray with you immediately following both services on Sunday morning.
Opportunities to pray…
Prayer is intimate conversation with our Creator. You can pray anytime, any place. If you would like to be involved as a prayer warrior or would like to pray corporately, we have several opportunities for you to participate:
- Become a member of the Prayer Chain. Just call the church office at 440-254-4747.
- Participate in our weekly Bible Study/Prayer meetings that take place on Wednesday evenings, at 6:45 p.m., during the Clubs ministry.
- Join us the first Sunday evening of every month as we pray corporately. Prayer time begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel sanctuary.
- Pray for the Mission and Ministry of Leroy Community Chapel on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m.
