Community Ministry
God called us to make disciples Matt. 28:19, 20. To those who need to hear of God’s glory in salvation, we are called to speak of Jesus’ work to forgive sin. For those who have a relationship with Jesus, we are called to live out our Gospel identity faithfully. God has called his church to help one another grow up into HIM. A vital part of this call is beyond the walls of this church or the borders of our community to God’s work through missions around the world.
Hispanic Outreach Ministry
The Hispanic Outreach Team Ministry of Leroy Community Chapel exists to bring the Light of the gospel message, Jesus Christ, to the Hispanic community in Painesville, Ohio and vicinity. We do this through offering free English as a Second Language classes and partnering with the Salvation Army in Painesville.
Jail Ministry
The Women’s and Men’s Jail Ministries of Leroy Community Chapel reaches the lost and poor in spirit in the jail system of Lake County. Teams of volunteers lead worship at the jail each week. We have seen fruit in the form of increased opportunities to minister in other facilities, Bible study and discipleship amongst the men and women in the system and changed lives from the decision to follow Christ.
Missions Committee
Leroy Community Chapel is committed to spreading the gospel to all nations through our Missions program. Our body currently supports 24 international and national missionaries. We are dedicated to educating our body on the Great Commission by hosting an annual Missions Festival and offering short term missionary trips to Guatemala, Mexico, China, Haiti, Cuba, Bolivia and within the United States.
