Tucker Barlow

Student Ministries Director

Tucker is the part-time director for student ministries at Leroy Community Chapel and formally joined the staff in 2016. As ministry director, his responsibilities include oversight of the Sunday morning 90@9 ministry, the Wednesday night Battalion and STIR ministries, and the various youth events and retreats that occur throughout the year.

Born in Mississippi, Tucker has lived in various parts of the southern United States until moving to Columbus, Ohio in the summer of 2003 as a freshman in high school. It was here that he met his future wife, Brittnee, at his church's youth group, and they began dating when Tucker was 15.

Tucker graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Management Information Systems in 2009 and started his career at Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Village, where he still works full-time as an IT Systems Engineer. Shortly after graduation and starting at Progressive, Tucker and Brittnee tied the knot and started their married journey in NE Ohio.

A couple of years after getting married, as they were looking for a more permanent home, they visited LCC at the recommendation of a friend. They loved the community and the foundation of biblical teaching they saw during their visit, and decided right then to make it their permanent church home.

Their very first week of attending full-time in 2009, Tucker and Brittnee asked to know more about the youth ministry at LCC, and were immediately plugged in as volunteers. Over the years, they have both served as in various aspects of student ministry at LCC.

Today, Tucker and Brittnee live in Painesville where they raise their three tenacious children, Chloe (born in 2013), Leon (born in 2015), and Flynn (born in 2017).
